Area of application
Suitable for bonding and sealing joints, seams and cracks where high heat resistance is required. Adheres very well to glass, enamel, tiles, glazed ceramics and smooth metals. Extremely suitable for bonding and sealing oven and microwave panes, edges around (ceramic) hobs, heat discharges, flue pipes, fireplace screens (also suitable as liquid gasket for automotive applications). Not suitable for bitumen, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE and aquaria.
Properties
- Heat resistant after complete curing up to 250°C and short-term (approx. 1 hour) up to 300°C
- Easily processable
- Colour of sealant: black

- Sealant may expand in contact with grease, oil, coolant or fuels
