This HSS-G spiral drill bit set STEP-X is 19-piece and comes in a handy ABS case. The set consists of drills with diameters ranging from Ø1 to 10 mm, with an increasing scale of 0.5 mm each. They comply with the DIN 338 standard and have a ground finish and a cylindrical shank. These drills offer the possibility of working without pre-drilling and ensure perfect centring, even on round surfaces, thanks to the self-centring split point with a top angle of 118°. The unique step geometry (from Ø3 mm) makes drilling perfectly round holes in thin-walled products and sheet metal up to 50% faster. In addition, the drills from Ø5 mm have a 3-surface holder for optimum clamping in the chuck. These spiral drills are ideal for use in cordless tools and for (extremely fast) drilling without pressure, resulting in burr-free results. They are suitable for applications in steel, aluminium, plastic and hardwood. The set is designed for high precision and longer life, making these drills excel in versatile use even with materials such as unalloyed and alloyed high-tensile steel (< 1,000 N/mm²), cast iron, and more.
