Polyamide wheels, also known as nylon wheels, are suitable for all kinds of applications. From containers and trolleys to chairs and industrial workshop trolleys. Made of a synthetic polymer, these wheels are durable, wear-resistant and have a high load capacity. This makes polyamide wheels an excellent choice for heavy loads and environments where high temperatures and humidity are the order of the day.

In our product range, you will find a diverse range of polyamide castors. There are polyamide swivel and fixed castors. Swivel castors are wheels that can swivel, meaning they are easy to manoeuvre. Fixed castors can only move forwards and backwards. You can combine swivel and fixed-wheel castors with each other for a stable steerable construction. There are also swivel castors with brakes, so you can put the transport trolley or container on the brake. Wheels differ in load capacity and size, among other things. For example, there are polyamide castors for chairs with a load capacity of 30kg to extra heavy duty castors with a load capacity of 3000kg. In addition, you will find polyamide castors with a diameter of 40mm to 200mm in our range. As a rule, the larger the wheel is, the easier it rolls. Furthermore, castors can be fixed in different ways, for example via a top plate or central hole.

When to choose polyamide castors

Polyamide wheels are very durable and wear-resistant. In addition, they have low rolling resistance, which means they roll easily over smooth surfaces. This makes them ideal for transporting loads on level surfaces in warehouses and sheds. Moreover, the wheels are chemical and temperature resistant. They can be used in demanding environments with high temperatures of up to 120 degrees Celsius without being affected. For example, the RNY series of polyamide wheels with stainless steel housing is ideally suited for all outdoor applications and in the food industry.
